Benjamin Leroux Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne 2023
Ben has made a single barrel, from vines planted in Les Languettes, facing south-east in the Aloxe-Corton sector of the hill. The nose is rich, with ripe peach and apricot notes. The palate is firmer and more mineral, with a grippy slab of dry stone at the end. The taut, mineral finish should allow for a decade or so of ageing.
