Billon āLes Corendiesā VdP Syrah is from 2 plots, St Cyr (planted in 2010-11) & Boucharey (planted part 1960s and part 2003). About 2,000 bottles made. Lovely deep colour, with blackberry & toasty oak aromas. There is attractive juicy red fruit on the palate, along with fine tannins. Cote Rote style.
2017 was another brilliant vintage following on the superb 2018ās ā these wines will drink nicely from the get go, but should age really well.
