Domaine Ponsot Grand Cru Chapelle-Chambertin 2021
Drawn from a small parcel (0.47 hectares) of vines replanted in 1990, the first domaine bottling of this wine dates back to 1970. The vines are in the GĂ©meaux lieu-dit that borders Cherbaudes and En la Chapelle, which in turn borders En Griotte. The soils here are particularly poor and rocky, typically producing wines of great minerality and longevity. This cuvĂ©e now sees a longer time on skins but with a gentler extraction. Itâs all the better for it.
