Greenhouse Knight Rosé ‘Clarete’

Cabernet soaked in chardonnay – a lovely chilled red from the Yarra Valley. Grown on a single vineyard, the wine is whole bunch pressed chardonnay juice with whole cabernet berries co-fermented. Aged in old wood. Low sulphur. A colourful, bright wine with blackberry and cranberry notes. There’s some earthiness due to the cabernet. Fruit driven, this wine has an island feel to it. A wonderful light bodied red that shows Sam and Seb’s experimental winemaking. Here, they got to let their hair down and have a bit of fun. The wine is fresh and vibrant, yet has those punchy dark fruited flavours along with some herby, earthiness.
