Kellybrook Full Moon Chardonnay 2024
Fermented and matured for 9 months in French oak (20% new) with a small portion going through malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity. Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Drifting through the nostrils with plenty of intensity are aromas of white peach, nectarine, bees wax and cashew followed by hints of crème brulee, nougat and spice. Rich, full and possessing a creamy textural feel, the palate is decorated with mouth filling flavours of ripe peach, nectarine, dried honey and crème brulee. Sitting underneath are notions of cashew and spicy nougat. Focused acidity with a long-concentrated finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
