From one of Hochheim’s most celebrated vineyards, Hölle (“steep hill”) slopes gently toward the Main River, capturing warmth and sunlight throughout the day. The vineyard’s clay and limestone soils give the wine its trademark power and minerality, while the loamy topsoil adds a touch of softness and balance.
