Le Domaine D'Henri Chablis Saint Pierre 2023
When Domaine Laroche went public in 2010, the deal did not include this original 8 hectares, which Michel inherited from his father back in the day. Now Domaine d'Henri is run by Michel's daughter Margaux and has 22.5 hectares of vineyards.
Le Domaine d'Henri has vineyards in different villages and 3 growing classes; Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume, and Petit Chablis. The focus of the house is on organic farming, the wines are not always filtered and the sulphite addition is kept as low as possible.
A well-ripened crop is harvested from vines planted in 1988, 1989 and 2001. Steel tanks as fermentation vessels.
Goes well with seafood delicacies; for example, with oysters, mussels, grilled white fish, roe and garlic snails.
