Les Cortis Vin de France Uzée Rouge 2022

Isabelle and Jérémy Decoster Coiffier's small estate (six hectares) in Bugey is a treasure trove of beautiful wines. Working organically and avoiding additives, except for minimal doses of sulfur if absolutely necessary, they produce very pure and fresh wines. Uzée is made from 70% Gamay and 30% Mondeuse, aged in vats and demi-muids for nine months. It's a delicious, fresh wine with a lovely structure and undeniable elegance, which will age gracefully for about ten years.
