Just the second release of this wine which is sourced from a tiny single plot in the Wallcliffe subregion. Has highly floral scents merging with a subtle chalk dustiness. The palate is distinctive and individual. The slightly saline oyster-shell character cuts a taut line through the palate extending through to a very long finish. There fine acidity is a feature contributing to its crystalline purity. Only older oak has been used and it all went through malolactic fermentation. The spotlight is brightly trained on the fruit of this delicate yet powerfully sustained wine.
