Wittmann Westhofener ‘Weisser Burgunder & Chardonnay’ 2021

VDP.ORTSWEIN are authentic ambassadors of their community. The grapes must be grown all within a single municipality in traditional vineyards of distinctive character. Westhofen’s typically clayey-marl and limestone soil lends itself to wines of notable depth and great expression.

Viticulture & Viniculture: High quality wine doesn’t come on its own. It starts in our vineyards with yield reduction, hand selection of the fruit and a variety of other biodyn-friendly measures throughout the year. In the cellar, gentle pressing is followed by traditional vinification methods. The wines are primarily fermented in traditional large barrels.
