Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 is one of Australia’s most iconic Cabernet expressions, showcasing the precision, structure, and longevity that define Margaret River’s finest wines. This milestone release marks the estate’s 50th vintage, continuing a legacy of excellence.

The blend is led by 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, adding complexity and structure. The 2022 growing season delivered a warm yet extended ripening period, allowing for optimal flavour development while retaining balance and finesse.

Aromatically, the wine reveals intense dark fruits—blackberry, mulberry, blueberry, and plum—layered with classic Cabernet notes of tobacco leaf, cigar box, and subtle cedar oak. On the palate, it is dense and structured, with concentrated blackcurrant and dark cherry flavours supported by fresh acidity and fine, velvety tannins.

Critics highlight its purity, balance, and length, with notes of cassis, graphite, spice, and earth, all carried through a long, controlled finish. This is a wine built for longevity, with cellaring potential extending 15–20+ years or more.
